Winter Cake image

I made this cake for my daughter Kezia's 4th birthday. It was a winter themed party and my husband even built a little toboggan slide in our backyard. This is a fun cake to make and a real show piece! A little time consuming, but worth every smile on my daughter's face! Prep time does not include cooling time.

The cake was good, but the icing was a bit too thick and sweet for my taste. I would probably use a different icing recipe next time.

I found this cake to be a bit dry. I think I would add more butter or oil to the batter next time.

This cake was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was still good. I think I would reduce the amount of sugar by half next time.
