Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine brown sugars, shortening, milk, vanilla, egg, flour, salt, and baking soda and begin mixing on low speed until just combined. Increase speed to medium and beat until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet about 3 inches apart. Bake approximately 10 minutes or until tops are lightly browned and surface is no longer shiny. Remove from oven and cool.
