AMERICAN CHOP SUEY image

Number Of Ingredients 13

8oz. elbows
2.5 C undrained canned tomatoes
1/4 lb grated cheddar
1/4 C. salad oil
1/2 C chopped onion
1/2 C. sliced celery
1/4 C. diced green pepper
3/4 lb ground beef
1 TBLSP. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 TBLSP. salt or less
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar

Steps:

  • Boil and drain macaroni. Add tomatoes and cheese and stir on low til melted. In skillet, heat oil, cook onion, celery and peppers til soft. Then add beef and brown. Add seasonings and mix w/ elbows. Put in casserole top w/ more cheese. Cook at 350 til hot.
