Andy's Not So Secret... Secret Sauce image

Tired of plan-old mayonnaise... me too. Sometimes I just want something with a bit of a KICK to it... but not too much kick. I've always said that if your dressing or spread overpowers the dish, then it's too much. This spread goes great on simple sandwiches of sliced turkey or chicken, and it's awesome on a good...

PLAN/PURCHASE
1 c plain mayonnaise or vegenaise
2 clove baked garlic, mashed (small cloves)
1 tsp sriracha sauce, or to taste
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp dijon mustard, i prefer grey poupon
1 tsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed

Steps:

  • 1. PREP/PREPARE
  • 2. Gather your ingredients.
  • 3. Add all the ingredients for the secret sauce in a bowl.
  • 4. Whisk to combine.
  • 5. Chef's Note: The Sriracha sauce is where most of the KICK is in this sauce. So, you might moderate it, according to taste.
  • 6. Keep tightly sealed in the fridge until ready to use.
  • 7. Chef's Tip: It will taste better the next day, and will store for several weeks, if kept tightly sealed.
  • 8. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
