Steps:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. Add baking powder, baking soda and salt to the already sifted flour. Then sift dry ingredients again. Add chopped nuts and mix well. Set aside.
- 3. Add brown sugar to melted butter and mix well. Then add egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- 4. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, until mixed well.
- 5. Stir in white chocolate chips. Spread in a 9-inch square pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean or with slightly fudgy-looking crumbs.
- 6. Serve warm with ice cream and Maple Butter Sauce.
- 7. For Maple Butter Sauce: In a pan, add real maple syrup and butter, cook over low heat until butter is melted. Next, stir in brown sugar until completely dissolved. If you desire, add walnuts.

[email protected]The blondies were good, but I found the maple butter sauce to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I will try using less butter or a different type of sweetener.
