Number Of Ingredients 15

1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 c flour, sifted
1/4 c chopped walnuts
1/3 c butter, melted
1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
1 large egg, beaten
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 c white chocolate chips
MAPLE BUTTER SAUCE
3/4 c maple syrup
1/2 c butter
3/4 c brown sugar
1/4 c chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 2. Add baking powder, baking soda and salt to the already sifted flour. Then sift dry ingredients again. Add chopped nuts and mix well. Set aside.
  • 3. Add brown sugar to melted butter and mix well. Then add egg and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  • 4. Add flour mixture, a little at a time, until mixed well.
  • 5. Stir in white chocolate chips. Spread in a 9-inch square pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean or with slightly fudgy-looking crumbs.
  • 6. Serve warm with ice cream and Maple Butter Sauce.
  • 7. For Maple Butter Sauce: In a pan, add real maple syrup and butter, cook over low heat until butter is melted. Next, stir in brown sugar until completely dissolved. If you desire, add walnuts.

The blondies were good, but I found the maple butter sauce to be a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time, I will try using less butter or a different type of sweetener.

YUM! These blondies were so easy to make and they turned out perfectly. I loved the combination of maple and butter flavors. I will definitely be making these again.

This recipe was a hit! The blondies were moist and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. The maple butter sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a rich and creamy flavor. I will definitely be making these again.
