Baked Blue Cheese Bites image

A friend of mine brought this appetizer to a party at our home and it was such a success that I now make it all the time...and not just for parties, either! These freeze well, but be sure to serve them warm. -Charlotte Warren, Blackstock, South Carolina

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325°. Beat cheese and butter until blended. Add flour and pecans; mix until a dough forms. Shape into 24 balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake until bottoms are lightly browned, 14-16 minutes. Serve warm.
