Banana Split Cake image

I was given this recipe 30 years ago and it is still a favorite.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 stick butter melted
2 c graham cracker crumbs
2 c powdered sugar
2 large eggs
2 stick butter softened
4 bananas
1 medium can crushed pineapple well drained
1 medium container cool whip
1 c pecan chopped
1 jar(s) maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • 1. Mix melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press in bottom of 9x13 pan.
  • 2. In a standing mixer beat sugar, eggs and softened butter for 15 minutes at high speed. Spread over cracker mixture in pan.
  • 3. Slice bananas and layer them on cake then pineapple top with cool whip. Sprinkle nuts and maraschino cherries on top. Chill overnight
