Basil Strawberry Mango Smoothie image

This smoothie makes for a great not too sweet cool summer beverage.

4 leaves basil
1 cup frozen mango pieces
5 hulled strawberries
1 cup water
ΒΌ cup white sugar, or to taste
3 cubes ice

Steps:

  • Blend the basil, mango, strawberries, and water in a blender. Add sugar and ice cubes; blend again until smooth.

I'm not a huge fan of basil, but I decided to give this smoothie a try anyway. I'm so glad I did! The basil flavor is very subtle and it really complements the strawberries and mangoes. This smoothie is now one of my favorites!
