- Melt shortening and skillet and add meat, onion and garlic Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender Stir in Ketchup, Worcestershire, sugar, salt, paprika, mustart, cayenne & 1 1/2 cup water Cover: simmer 2-2 1/2 hrs Blend flour & 1/4 cup water Stir gradually into meat mixture Heat to boiling stiring constantly Boil and stir x 1 minute
