8 ounces ground beef
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 large red onion, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons chili powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2/3 cup picante sauce
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Cook beef in large skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Combine beef and remaining ingredients, except salt and pepper, in slow cooker; cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
