CRUNCHY AIR-FRIED JALAPENO SLICES
I first had these at a restaurant inside a casino in Tulsa, OK and it was love at first bite. I got to craving them the other day but didn't want the guilt of the deep-fry. I whipped up a batch in the air fryer and they turned out crispier than the deep-fried version. Don't forget the ranch!

AIR-FRIED BACON-WRAPPED SHRIMP
Simple to put together with only 4 ingredients, but big on flavor! I like to use "extra jumbo" size shrimp, which are 16-20 per pound. Cutting the bacon lengthwise into narrow strips makes it easier to wrap. Refrigerating the shrimp, as well as using thin-cut bacon, will prevent the shrimp from overcooking in the time it takes to crisp the bacon.

AIR FRYER JALAPEñO POPPERS WITH BACON
These bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers were my dad's go-to party recipe and always a huge hit! He baked them in the oven, but I've discovered they cook in the air fryer in less than one-fourth of the time!

Steps:
- Preheat an air fryer to 375 degrees F (if preheating is necessary; see Cook's Note for oven directions).
- Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the ribs and seeds (see Cook's Note). Using a small rubber spatula or spoon, fill the jalapeño halves with the cream cheese. If using large jalapeños, wrap each half with 1 slice of the bacon, tucking in the ends. (If using smaller jalapeños, cut each slice of bacon in half crosswise before wrapping.)
- Place the jalapeños (cream cheese side up) in a single layer in the air fryer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked through and crispy.
- Allow to cool slightly and sprinkle with the cilantro and lime juice, if using, and serve!
AIR-FRIED JALAPENO POPPERS
All air fryers are different and some cook much hotter than others. Once you cook your first batch, you'll know more of what works for your model of air fryer and size of food.

Tips:
- Choose the right jalapenos: Look for firm, plump jalapenos with smooth skin and a deep green color. Avoid any jalapenos with blemishes or bruises.
- Wear gloves when handling jalapenos: Jalapenos contain capsaicin, a compound that can cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Wearing gloves will help protect your hands from the capsaicin.
- Remove the seeds and ribs from the jalapenos: This will help reduce the spiciness of the jalapenos. If you want to make the jalapenos even milder, you can blanch them in boiling water for a few minutes.
- Use high-quality bacon: The quality of the bacon will have a big impact on the flavor of the dish. Look for bacon that is thick-cut and has a good amount of marbling.
- Cook the bacon until it is crispy: This will help give the bacon a nice flavor and texture.
- Don't overcrowd the air fryer: If you overcrowd the air fryer, the jalapenos will not cook evenly. Cook the jalapenos in batches if necessary.
Conclusion:
Air fryer bacon-wrapped jalapenos are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They are perfect for parties or game day gatherings. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your air fryer bacon-wrapped jalapenos are cooked perfectly every time.
