Tips:

  • Use the right apples: Firm, tart apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp hold their shape well and provide a nice contrast to the sweet glaze.
  • Slice the apples evenly: This will help them cook evenly in the air fryer.
  • Coat the apples in cinnamon sugar: This will give them a delicious, caramelized coating.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket: Leave some space between the apple slices so they can cook evenly.
  • Cook the apple fritters in batches: If you're making a large batch, cook them in batches to prevent overcrowding.
  • Serve the apple fritters warm: They're best enjoyed fresh out of the air fryer, when they're still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Conclusion:

Air fryer apple fritters are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert. They're also a great way to use up leftover apples. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy these tasty fritters in no time.
