  • Form dough into 2-teaspoon-size balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place dough balls, about 2 inches apart, on the prepared baking sheet.

Tips:

  • Use room temperature butter for a creamier dough. Softened butter will mix more evenly with the sugar and flour, resulting in a smoother cookie.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the dough, making the cookies light and airy.
  • Don't overmix the dough. Overmixing will develop the gluten in the flour, making the cookies tough.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies to hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at a high temperature for a short amount of time. This will help to create a crispy exterior and a chewy interior.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This will help to prevent the cookies from breaking.
