Tips:

  • For the best results, use cold butter and cream cheese. This will help the dough stay firm and prevent it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Be sure to chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before rolling it out. This will also help prevent it from spreading too much in the oven.
  • If you don't have a pastry blender, you can use two knives to cut the butter into the flour.
  • If the dough is too dry, add a little bit of milk or water until it comes together. If the dough is too wet, add a little bit more flour until it is no longer sticky.
  • Be sure to preheat the oven before baking the appetizers. This will help them cook evenly.
  • Keep an eye on the appetizers while they are baking. They should be golden brown when they are done.
  • Let the appetizers cool for a few minutes before serving. This will help them set and make them easier to handle.
