Tips:

  • Select fresh tilapia fillets: Look for fillets that are firm and have a slightly pink color. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have a strong odor.
  • Use a food processor to grind the almonds: This will help to create a fine crumb coating that will adhere to the fish.
  • Season the almond crumbs with your favorite herbs and spices: This will add flavor to the coating and help it to brown nicely in the oven.
  • Press the almond crumbs firmly onto the tilapia fillets: This will help to ensure that the coating stays on the fish during baking.
  • Bake the tilapia fillets at a high temperature for a short amount of time: This will help to create a crispy coating and prevent the fish from drying out.
  • Serve the tilapia fillets with your favorite sides: Roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a simple green salad are all great options.

Conclusion:

Almond-crusted tilapia is a delicious and healthy weeknight meal that can be prepared in under 30 minutes. The crispy almond coating adds a nice crunch to the fish, while the tender tilapia fillets are cooked to perfection. This dish is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
