Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 8

10 slice bacon
8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 c mayonnaise
2 tsp dijon mustard
1 1/2 c shredded swiss cheese
4 green onions (chopped)
1/2 c almonds (chopped)
crushed almonds (for topping)

Steps:

  • 1. Fry the bacon. Let drain and crumble.
  • 2. Mix all ingredients. Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for about 15 minute until golden and bubbly.
  • 3. Top with crushed almonds. Serve warm.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Choose a good quality Swiss cheese, fresh almonds, and a flavorful mayonnaise.
  • If you don't have time to blanch the almonds, you can skip this step. However, blanching the almonds will give the dip a smoother texture.
  • Be careful not to overcook the almonds. They should be toasted, but not burnt.
  • If you want a more flavorful dip, you can add a pinch of cayenne pepper or paprika.
  • Serve the dip with your favorite crackers, vegetables, or bread.

Conclusion:

This almond Swiss cheese dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The almonds add a nice crunch and the Swiss cheese gives it a sharp flavor. This dip is sure to be a hit at your next party or potluck.
