APPLESAUCE BARS
I ran across this recipe a few weeks ago in one of my cooking magazines and wanted to post them. You can either use the chunky applesauce or the regular applesauce in this recipe. It tastes great with both. PS. I made these this weekend for my son who just loves these, I made these with Splenda.

Tips:
- Chill the dough before baking: This helps the cookies hold their shape and prevents them from spreading too much.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing can make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Use a cookie scoop: This helps ensure that the cookies are all the same size and shape.
- Bake the cookies until they are just set: Overbaking can make the cookies dry.
- Let the cookies cool completely before frosting: This helps the frosting set properly.

The cream cheese frosting adds a sweet and tangy topping that takes these cookies to the next level. These cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
