THE MOST FAMOUS ARABIAN BEVERAGE - QAHWA
This is "THE MOST" famous after-dinner drink here in the Sultante of Oman. It's really light and is served in traditional Omani homes in a golden/silver jug on a straw mat. I once had a beautiful experience sipping this beverage in a traditional Omani home that had in it this most well-knit family who served from their soul; this is one experience and one drink I always hold close to my heart :)

Tips:
- Use freshly roasted coffee beans. The fresher the beans, the better the flavor of your qahwa will be.
- Grind your coffee beans coarsely. This will help to prevent the coffee from becoming bitter.
- Use filtered or spring water. Tap water can contain impurities that can affect the taste of your qahwa.
- Bring the water to a boil, then remove it from the heat. This will help to prevent the coffee from boiling over.
- Add the ground coffee to the water and stir. Allow the coffee to steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you like your qahwa.
- Strain the coffee into a serving pot. Serve the qahwa hot, with or without sugar.
