Tips:

  • Choose the right chicken: Use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. They cook quickly and evenly, making them ideal for this dish.
  • Cut the chicken into uniform pieces: This will help them cook evenly. Aim for pieces that are about 1-inch thick.
  • Marinate the chicken: Marinating the chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine, and garlic will help to tenderize it and infuse it with flavor.
  • Use a well-seasoned wok: A well-seasoned wok will help to prevent the chicken from sticking. If you don't have a wok, you can use a large skillet.
  • Cook the chicken over high heat: This will help to sear the chicken and lock in the juices.
  • Stir-fry the vegetables: Add the vegetables to the wok and stir-fry until they are tender-crisp.
  • Add the sauce: Add the sauce to the wok and bring to a simmer. Then, add the chicken and vegetables back to the wok and stir to coat.
  • Serve immediately: Serve the chicken and vegetables over rice or noodles. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Conclusion:

This Asian chicken in garlic sauce is a quick and easy weeknight meal that is packed with flavor. The chicken is tender and juicy, the vegetables are crisp-tender, and the sauce is flavorful and slightly sweet. Serve this dish over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
