Refrigerate remaining marinade. Remove chops from marinade, discarding marinade. Grill or broil chops, turning once and brushing with refrigerated marinade, until chops are done. Serve with Knorr® Rice Sides™ - Rice Pilaf.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality rice: Long-grain rice, such as basmati or jasmine, works best for pilaf. These types of rice have a light, fluffy texture that is perfect for pilaf.
  • Rinse the rice before cooking: This will help to remove any starch from the surface of the rice, which can make it gummy. Rinsing the rice also helps to remove any impurities.
  • Use a heavy-bottomed pot: A heavy-bottomed pot will help to distribute the heat evenly and prevent the rice from burning.
  • Toast the rice before cooking: Toasting the rice in a little bit of oil before cooking will help to give it a nutty flavor and a slightly crispy texture.
  • Use a flavorful broth: The broth that you use to cook the rice will add a lot of flavor to the pilaf. Use a broth that is rich in flavor, such as chicken broth, beef broth, or vegetable broth.
  • Add vegetables and other ingredients: You can add a variety of vegetables and other ingredients to your pilaf, such as onions, garlic, carrots, peas, and nuts. This will make your pilaf more flavorful and nutritious.
  • Let the pilaf rest before serving: After the pilaf is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the rice to absorb all of the flavors from the broth and other ingredients.

Conclusion:

Asian rice pilaf is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as a main course or a side dish. It is a great way to use up leftover rice, and it is also a healthy and affordable meal.
