Second, you'll need to decide how you want to cook the potatoes. You can roast them in the oven, fry them in a pan, or even boil them. Finally, you'll need to season the potatoes with cumin. Tips:

  • Choose small, firm baby potatoes for this recipe. They will hold their shape better during cooking.
  • If you don't have cumin seeds, you can use ground cumin instead. Just use half the amount, as ground cumin is more concentrated.
  • You can also add other spices to this recipe, such as coriander, paprika, or chili powder.
  • If you want a crispy potato, roast them in a single layer on a baking sheet. If you want a softer potato, you can overcrowd the baking sheet.
  • Don't overcrowd the baking sheet with potatoes, or they will steam instead of roast.
  • Roast the potatoes at a high temperature (425 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 20 minutes, or until they are tender and browned.

Conclusion:

These cumin roasted baby potatoes are a delicious and easy side dish that can be served with a variety of meals. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The potatoes are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the cumin gives them a warm and earthy flavor. This recipe is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
