Tips:

Choose the right oats. For a chewier texture, use old-fashioned oats. For a softer texture, use quick-cooking oats. Gluten-free oats are also available.

Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter your oatmeal squares will be. You can also use mashed bananas in place of the applesauce.

Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the oatmeal squares tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.

Bake the oatmeal squares until they are set in the center. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.

Let the oatmeal squares cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to hold their shape.

Conclusion:

Baked oatmeal squares are a delicious and healthy breakfast or snack. They are easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With a variety of toppings and mix-ins to choose from, you can create a unique and flavorful treat that everyone will enjoy. Give this versatile recipe a try and let us know how you like it!
