1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup crushed peanut brittle, divided
2 ripe bananas, sliced
4 to 6 maraschino cherries

Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat cream until soft peaks form. Add vanilla and continue beating just until stiff peaks form. Fold in 3/4 cup peanut brittle and the bananas. Spoon into individual dessert dishes. , Chill for 1 hour. Sprinkle with remaining peanut brittle and top each with a cherry.

1 papaya
1 small pineapple (extra-sweet)
2 oranges, juice of
2 small bananas
1 (7 ounce) container fromage frais with added cream
4 teaspoons dark muscovado sugar

  • Cut a thick slice off each side of the mango to reveal the large, flat stone.
  • Cut the flesh away from the stone, peel the fruit, then cut into slices.

1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened baking cocoa
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 medium bananas
1/4 cup chocolate or fudge topping

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, beat pudding mix (dry) and milk with wire whisk or electric mixer on low speed about 2 minutes or until well blended. Fold in whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 9-inch round cake pan. In large bowl, beat all dessert ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on medium speed 4 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pan.

Butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for drop cookies
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 container (12 oz) Cool Whip frozen whipped topping, thawed
3 firm medium bananas, cut into 1/4-inch slices (about 2 1/2 cups)
2 boxes (3.4 oz each) Jell-O™ banana cream-flavor instant pudding & pie filling mix
3 cups cold milk
1 firm medium banana, cut into 1/4-inch slices (about 1 cup)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Make and bake drop cookies as directed on pouch. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Set aside 4 cookies for garnish.
  • In food processor, process half of the remaining cookies to coarse crumbs. Remove to medium bowl. Continue to process second half of remaining cookies to coarse crumbs; add to bowl.
