Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas: The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your muffins will be. You can also use bananas that are slightly overripe, as long as they are not brown or mushy.
  • Choose fresh pineapple: Fresh pineapple will give your muffins the best flavor. If you don't have fresh pineapple, you can use canned pineapple, but be sure to drain it well before using.
  • Make sure your butter is cold: Cold butter is easier to work with and will help to create a more crumbly streusel topping.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make your muffins tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Fill the muffin tins evenly: Fill each muffin tin about 2/3 full. This will help to prevent the muffins from overflowing.
  • Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean: This is the best way to tell if the muffins are done. Overbaking will dry them out.

Conclusion:

These banana pineapple streusel muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make breakfast or snack. They are perfect for using up ripe bananas and fresh pineapple. The muffins are moist and flavorful, with a sweet and crunchy streusel topping. They are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
