Tips:

  • Choose the right salmon: Look for wild-caught salmon that is firm to the touch and has a vibrant color. Avoid farmed salmon, which can be less flavorful and have a higher fat content.
  • Roast the salmon at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy skin and a tender, flaky interior. Aim for a temperature of 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Use a flavorful marinade or rub: This will help to enhance the salmon's natural flavor. Some good options include a mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, herbs, and spices, or a teriyaki sauce.
  • Don't overcook the salmon: Salmon is a delicate fish that can easily become dry and overcooked. Cook it just until it flakes easily with a fork, about 10-12 minutes per inch of thickness.
  • Serve the salmon immediately: Salmon is best served hot off the grill. You can garnish it with fresh herbs, lemon wedges, or a drizzle of olive oil.

Conclusion:

Barbecue-roasted salmon is a delicious, healthy, and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a summer cookout. By following these tips, you can create a perfectly cooked salmon that will impress your friends and family. With its crispy skin, tender flesh, and flavorful marinade, barbecue-roasted salmon is a dish that everyone will love.
