Steps:
- Drain and chop sun-dried tomatoes. In a bowl, combine sun-dried tomatoes, DANNON® All Natural Plain Yogurt, basil, oil and garlic. Mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with Artisan Breads. Refrigerate any leftovers.
Tips:
- Use fresh basil for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh basil, you can use dried basil, but it won't be as flavorful.
- Use sun-dried tomatoes that are packed in oil. This will help to give the dip a rich, flavorful taste.
- If you don't have sun-dried tomatoes, you can use regular tomatoes. Just roast them in the oven until they are slightly caramelized.
- Use a good quality olive oil. This will help to give the dip a smooth, creamy texture.
- Season the dip to taste with salt and pepper. You may also want to add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder.
- Serve the dip with your favorite crackers, chips, or vegetables.
Conclusion:
Basil sun-dried tomato dip is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is made with just a few simple ingredients and can be ready in minutes. This dip is also a great way to use up leftover basil and sun-dried tomatoes. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy appetizer, give this basil sun-dried tomato dip a try.
