Categories     Sandwiches

Time 25m

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 can(s) refrigerated, ready to bake, buttermilk biscuits
1.5-2 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
14-16 oz can of bbq beans, baked beans or pork and beans
10 oz can condensed tomato soup
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • 1. In a large frying pan, brown the ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in beans, soup and seasonings. Bring to a simmer.
  • 2. While the meat mixture simmers, bake refrigerated biscuits according to their package directions.
  • 3. When the biscuits are done, split in half. Spoon the meat mixture on one half of the biscuit and top with shredded cheese. Put the other half of the biscuit on top of the cheese to form a sandwich. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Choose the right biscuits: Use a biscuit that is sturdy enough to hold up to the sauce and toppings. Buttermilk biscuits or drop biscuits have the perfect texture, according to most recipes.
  • Make your own BBQ sauce or use a high-quality store-bought sauce: A good BBQ sauce is essential for these biscuits. If you're making your own, be sure to use a recipe that has a good balance of sweet, sour, and savory flavors. If you're using a store-bought sauce, choose one that is thick and flavorful.
  • Don't overcook the biscuits: They should be cooked through, but still slightly soft in the center. Overcooked biscuits will be dry and tough, and they won't taste as good.
  • Add your favorite toppings: Shredded cheese, bacon, pulled pork, and sliced jalapeƱos are all popular toppings for BBQ biscuits. Get creative and experiment with different combinations to find your favorite.

Conclusion:

BBQ biscuits are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack. They're perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a casual get-together. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can make these tasty treats that will be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a fun and easy recipe, give BBQ biscuits a try!
