Steps:
- 1. Combine all ingredients in a plastic bag. Cut up about 3 pounds of beef or lamb into cubes and marinate overnight. You can also add peppers, onions, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes. This will also work with a flank steak. Enjoy!
Tips:
- Choose the right meat: For best results, use flank steak, skirt steak, or hanger steak for beef marinade recipes and leg of lamb or shoulder of lamb for lamb marinade recipes.
- Use fresh herbs and spices: Fresh herbs and spices will give your marinade the most flavor. If you don't have fresh herbs on hand, you can use dried herbs, but use half the amount.
- Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes: The longer you marinate the meat, the more flavorful it will be. However, don't marinate the meat for more than 24 hours, or it will become tough.
- Bring the meat to room temperature before cooking: This will help the meat cook evenly.
- Cook the meat over high heat: This will help to seal in the flavor of the marinade.
Conclusion:
Marinating meat is a great way to add flavor and tenderness. By following these tips, you can create delicious marinated beef and lamb dishes that your family and friends will love.
