1/4 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups water
3 cups uncooked whole wheat rotini (about 8 ounces)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a 6-qt. stockpot, cook the first five ingredients over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain. , Add pasta sauce, salt and water; bring to a boil. 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck or 1 1/2 lbs ground round
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes, plus
1 3/4 cups water
2 packages lipton onion soup mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
rotini pasta, cooked and tossed with a small amount of
butter or olive oil

Steps:

  • Brown ground chuck in a large skillet and drain any grease.

1 (13 ounce) can tomatoes
1 brown onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 dash salt

2 tablespoons ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon dried Italian herb seasoning
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
