Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the butterscotch schnapps will taste. Use real butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Don't overcook the sugar: When making the butterscotch sauce, be careful not to overcook the sugar. Overcooked sugar will turn bitter.
- Let the schnapps age: Butterscotch schnapps improves with age. Let it age for at least two weeks before drinking.
- Serve chilled: Butterscotch schnapps is best served chilled. Serve it over ice or in a chilled glass.
- Garnish with whipped cream or a cinnamon stick: For a special touch, garnish your butterscotch schnapps with whipped cream or a cinnamon stick.
