BEST PORK CHOPS MARINADE EVER

Best Pork Chops Marinade Ever image

Make and share this Best Pork Chops Marinade Ever recipe from Food.com.

Provided by Holly Lyman

Categories     Low Protein

Time 5m

Yield 4 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup coffee, strong
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 teaspoons horseradish
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning

Steps:

  • Mix marinade in a zip loc bag, and place 4 pork chops in the bag.
  • Marinade for at least 2 hours, I sometimes even marinade them overnight for more flavor.

Tips:

  • Choose the right marinade: Different marinades work better for different cuts of pork chops. For example, acidic marinades help tenderize tougher cuts, while sweeter marinades complement the natural flavor of pork.
  • Marinate for the right amount of time: Over-marinating can toughen pork chops, so it's important to follow the recipe's instructions carefully. Generally, thinner chops should be marinated for a shorter period of time than thicker chops.
  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh herbs, spices, and citrus juices will give your marinade the best flavor. If you're using bottled ingredients, make sure they're fresh and haven't been sitting in the back of your pantry for too long.
  • Don't overcrowd the marinade: Make sure there's enough marinade to cover the pork chops completely, but don't overcrowd them. This will prevent the marinade from circulating properly and will result in unevenly flavored chops.
  • Refrigerate the marinade: Always marinate pork chops in the refrigerator, not at room temperature. This will help to prevent bacteria from growing.
  • Discard the marinade: After marinating, discard the marinade. Never reuse it, as it may contain harmful bacteria.

Conclusion:

Pork chops are a versatile and delicious cut of meat that can be cooked in a variety of ways. Marinating pork chops before cooking is a great way to add flavor and tenderness to the meat. With so many different marinade recipes to choose from, you're sure to find one that you'll love. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, try marinating some pork chops. You won't be disappointed!
