THE BEST TUNA SALAD
While we love many kinds of tuna salad, this classic version tops them all. The crispy celery and red onion give add zest and crunch, while mayonnaise and touch of mustard marry it all together. The lemon juice is optional as it's not traditional, but we strongly recommend it to brighten up the flavors of the final dish.

Tips:
- Use high-quality tuna. The fresher the tuna, the better your salad will taste. Look for tuna that is labeled "solid white albacore" or "chunk light."
- Flake the tuna gently. Over-flaking the tuna will make it tough and dry. Use a fork to gently flake the tuna into small pieces.
- Use a variety of ingredients. Don't just stick to the basics. Add some chopped celery, onion, pickle, or hard-boiled egg to your salad. You can also add some herbs, such as dill or parsley.
- Use a light dressing. A heavy dressing will overwhelm the flavor of the tuna. Use a light mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, or olive oil dressing.
- Season to taste. Add salt, pepper, and other seasonings to taste. You may also want to add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of Dijon mustard.
- Chill before serving. Tuna salad is best served chilled. This will help the flavors to meld together and will make the salad more refreshing.
Conclusion:
Tuna salad is a classic dish that is easy to make and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. By following these tips, you can make the best-tasting tuna salad that you've ever had. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy meal, give tuna salad a try. You won't be disappointed!
