1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
TOPPING:
24 caramels
1 tablespoon whiskey
3 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars until crumbly. Beat in yogurt, oil and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into sugar mixture., Shape into 1-in. balls; place 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. 1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup icing sugar or 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 cup red maraschino cherry
1/4 cup green maraschino cherry

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl and using an electric mixer, combine butter, flour, icing sugar and vanilla extract; mix until mixture is a smooth consistency.
