Tips:
- Use refrigerated Bisquick baking mix for the best results. If you only have Bisquick mix on hand, store it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before using.
- Grate the cheese yourself for a fresher, more flavorful result. Pre-shredded cheese contains cellulose, which can make the sausage balls dry and crumbly.
- Use a food processor to quickly and easily combine the ingredients. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a large bowl and a fork or spoon to mix the ingredients together.
- Chill the sausage ball mixture for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the balls hold their shape better in the oven.
- Bake the sausage balls until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Conclusion:
Bisquick sausage balls are a quick and easy appetizer or snack that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or tailgating events. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a delicious and satisfying treat that will be sure to please everyone.
