I'm kidding, and actually love kale, but if you're not the biggest fan in the world, maybe try it one more time in this.

For this recipe to be gluten-free suitable care to be taken that gluten-free sausages are used and serve with a gluten-free bread

Tips and Conclusion

To make a delicious and hearty black lentil stew with sausage and kale, follow these tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the stew will taste. Look for fresh, organic vegetables and high-quality sausage.
  • Don't skimp on the spices. Spices are what give the stew its flavor. Be generous with the cumin, coriander, and paprika.
  • Cook the lentils until they are tender but not mushy. Lentils should hold their shape but be soft enough to easily mash with a fork.
  • Add the kale at the end of cooking. Kale is a delicate green that will wilt quickly. Adding it at the end of cooking will prevent it from becoming overcooked.
  • Serve the stew with crusty bread or rice. This will help to soak up all of the delicious sauce.

Conclusion

Black lentil stew with sausage and kale is a delicious, hearty, and healthy meal that is perfect for a cold winter day. It is also a great way to use up leftover lentils and sausage. So next time you are looking for a simple but satisfying meal, give this recipe a try.
