Tips:

  • To ensure even cooking, tenderize the pork chops and flatten them to a uniform thickness.
  • Use a cast iron skillet or grill pan for searing the pork chops to achieve a nice crust.
  • The key to a successful blackened seasoning is to use a generous amount of spices and herbs.
  • Keep an eye on the pork chops while searing to avoid overcooking. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or 160°F (71°C) for medium.
  • While the pork chops are resting, prepare the Caesar dressing and croutons to save time.
  • To make your own croutons, simply toss cubed bread with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake until golden brown.
  • Use a variety of lettuce for a more flavorful salad. A mix of romaine, radicchio, and arugula works well.
  • Garnish the salad with Parmesan cheese, fresh herbs, and a squeeze of lemon juice for a final touch of flavor.

The blackened pork Caesar salad is a delicious and satisfying meal that is perfect for any occasion.
