BOB EVANS WAFFLES (OR PANCAKES) COPYCAT
This is a copycat recipe I found online. Bob Evans first restaurant was here, in my hometown.. wonderful food! For the pancakes, add a little extra water till its the consistency you like, as waffle batter is a little thicker. cooking time is a guess, so I am putting in approximate per batch.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients. Fresh buttermilk, eggs, and butter will give your waffles or pancakes the best flavor.
- Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing will make your waffles or pancakes tough.
- Let the batter rest for a few minutes before cooking. This will allow the gluten in the flour to relax, which will also make your waffles or pancakes more tender.
- Use a hot griddle. A hot griddle will help your waffles or pancakes cook evenly.
- Don't overcrowd the griddle. If you overcrowd the griddle, your waffles or pancakes will not cook evenly.
- Be patient. Waffles and pancakes take a few minutes to cook. Don't flip them too early or they will fall apart.
- Serve your waffles or pancakes with your favorite toppings. Butter, syrup, fruit, whipped cream, and ice cream are all popular toppings.
Conclusion:
Waffles and pancakes are both delicious breakfast foods that are easy to make at home. With a few simple tips, you can make perfect waffles or pancakes every time. So next time you're in the mood for a hearty breakfast, give one of these recipes a try.
