2 (15 ounce) cans red kidney beans, drained
2 (15 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
2 (15 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained
1 large sweet onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 cup rice wine vinegar
1 cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil, or more if needed
½ teaspoon salt, or to taste

Steps:

1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
⅓ medium onion, chopped
1 (6 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (12 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 (12 ounce) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
1 (12 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
2 ounces crumbled feta cheese
¼ cup olive oil
⅛ cup white vinegar or white wine vinegar
⅛ cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, toss red bell pepper, onion, and artichokes together with kidney, pinto, and garbanzo beans. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk salt and sugar with white and balsamic vinegars until completely dissolved. Slowly whisk in olive oil. Adjust seasoning as desired.

1/2 pound haricots verts
1 medium head red cabbage, finely shredded
1 small head Napa cabbage
2 jalapeno pepper, minced
1 cup rice wine vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
Salt and pepper
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup lime juice
2 fresh basil leaves, cut into chiffonade
1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
2 cups pure olive oil

Steps:

  • In a large pot of boiling water, salted water over high heat, blanch the green beans for 1 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and shock in a large bowl of ice water, drain. In the same pot, add the red cabbage and blanch for 1 minute, remove with a slotted spoon and shock in the ice water, drain well. In a large bowl, combine the blanched red cabbage and the raw Napa cabbage, jalapeno pepper, vinegar, oil and honey, season to taste with slat and pepper. Transfer the mixture to a large saucepan and cook, covered, mixing occasionally, until cooked through. Combine the juices, basil, and onion in a blender and blend until smooth. With the motor running, slowly add the oil until emulsified. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place the cabbage in a serving bowl, toss with the citrus vinaigrette and fold in the haricots verts. Serve at room temperature.

1 lb hamburger
1 lb bacon (diced)
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans
1 (15 ounce) can lima beans
1 (15 ounce) can dark red kidney beans
1 (15 ounce) can light red kidney beans
1/2 cup onion (chopped)
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 cup brown sugar (or more)
1 tablespoon vinegar (capful is fine. Don't need any more than that)
1 teaspoon dry mustard (can use regular mustard)

Steps:

  • Dice the onion and the bacon, and cook with the hamburger until browned.
  • Drain all the beans except the pork and beans and add the rest of the ingredients.
