Number Of Ingredients 9

1 (10 pound) boneless turkey breast
2 (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix
3/4 cup water
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 tablespoon seasoned salt (such as Season-All(R))
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried oregano

Steps:

  • Place turkey breast into a large slow cooker. Whisk onion soup mix and water in a bowl and pour the mixture over the turkey breast, spreading it out to evenly cover the meat. Stir garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, seasoned salt, basil, and oregano in a bowl until thoroughly combined; sprinkle the seasonings over the turkey breast. Cook on Low until turkey is very tender and the seasonings have flavored the meat, 8 to 9 hours. An instant-read meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast, not touching bone, should read at least 165 degrees F (75 degrees C).

Tips:

  • Brine your turkey breast: Brining helps to keep the turkey breast moist and flavorful. To brine the turkey breast, dissolve 1 cup of salt in 1 gallon of water. Add the turkey breast to the brine and refrigerate for 12-24 hours.
  • Roast the turkey breast at a high temperature: This will help to create a crispy skin and juicy meat. Roast the turkey breast at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and continue roasting for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the turkey breast is cooked to the proper temperature: This will help to prevent the turkey breast from being overcooked or undercooked.
  • Let the turkey breast rest before carving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more tender and flavorful turkey breast.
  • Serve the turkey breast with your favorite sides: Some popular sides for turkey breast include mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green beans.

Conclusion:

Boneless turkey breast is a delicious and versatile protein that can be roasted, grilled, or pan-fried. It is a great option for a weeknight meal or a special occasion dinner. With a little planning and preparation, you can easily create a delicious and memorable meal that your family and friends will love.
