Tips:
- Choose the right pasta: Bow-tie pasta is a great choice for this recipe because it holds the sauce well and is a good size for eating with a fork. However, you can use any type of short pasta that you like.
- Cook the pasta al dente: This means that the pasta should be cooked until it is tender but still has a slight bite to it. Overcooked pasta will be mushy and will not hold the sauce as well.
- Use fresh broccoli: Fresh broccoli will have a better flavor and texture than frozen broccoli. If you are using frozen broccoli, be sure to thaw it completely before cooking.
- Don't overcook the broccoli: Broccoli should be cooked until it is tender-crisp. Overcooked broccoli will be mushy and will not have as much flavor.
- Use good quality olive oil: Olive oil is an important ingredient in this recipe, so be sure to use a good quality extra virgin olive oil.
- Season the dish to taste: This recipe is a good starting point, but you may want to adjust the seasonings to your own taste. Add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice as needed.
Conclusion:
This bow-tie pasta with broccoli, garlic, and lemon is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick weeknight meal. The combination of flavors and textures is sure to please everyone at the table. Serve it with a side salad or a piece of garlic bread for a complete meal.
