Tips:

  • Use ripe bananas. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
  • Mash the bananas well. This will help to incorporate them evenly into the batter and prevent them from clumping.
  • Use a combination of flours. This will give your bread a more complex flavor and texture. All-purpose flour is a good base, but you can also add whole wheat flour, oat flour, or almond flour.
  • Add some nuts or seeds. This will give your bread a crunchy texture and extra flavor. Walnuts, pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds are all great options.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make your bread tough. Just mix until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the bread at a moderate temperature. This will help to prevent it from drying out. 350 degrees Fahrenheit is a good temperature for most banana breads.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing it. This will help to prevent it from crumbling.
