Tips for Making the Best Buffalo Fried Shrimp:

  • Use large shrimp for the best results. Medium or small shrimp will work, but they won't be as juicy.
  • Marinate the shrimp in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes before frying. This will help to tenderize the shrimp and give it a more flavorful coating.
  • Use a light coating of flour. Too much flour will make the shrimp tough.
  • Fry the shrimp in hot oil. The oil should be at least 375 degrees Fahrenheit. If the oil is not hot enough, the shrimp will not cook evenly.
  • Drain the shrimp on paper towels before serving. This will help to remove any excess oil. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as blue cheese dressing.

Conclusion:

Buffalo fried shrimp is a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. With its crispy coating and spicy buffalo sauce, it's sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering. So next time you're looking for something new and exciting to try, give buffalo fried shrimp a try! You won't be disappointed.
