Tips:

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • To make the cookies even more decadent, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to the center of each cookie before baking.
  • If you don't have any pecans on hand, you can substitute walnuts or almonds.
  • Be sure to chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set around the edges. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

These butter pecan pudding cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy with a rich butter flavor and a hint of pecan. The chocolate chips add a touch of sweetness and the pudding mix gives the cookies a moist and tender texture. Whether you are baking them for a party or just to enjoy as a snack, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
