Tips:

  • Use a heavy-bottomed saucepan to make the fudge, as this will help to prevent scorching.
  • Stir the fudge constantly while it is cooking, to prevent it from sticking to the pan and to ensure that it cooks evenly.
  • Use a candy thermometer to measure the temperature of the fudge, as this is the best way to ensure that it is cooked to the correct stage.
  • If you don't have a candy thermometer, you can test the fudge by dropping a small amount into a glass of cold water. If the fudge forms a soft ball, it is ready.
  • Be careful not to overcook the fudge, as this will make it hard and crumbly.
  • Once the fudge is cooked, pour it into a prepared pan and let it cool completely before cutting it into pieces.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Butterscotch toffee fudge is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With just a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can create a batch of fudge that is sure to please everyone. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give butterscotch toffee fudge a try!
