1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups pecan halves
1 tablespoon chili powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
  • In a medium bowl, mix butter, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Stir in the pecans, and gently toss with chili powder to coat.
  • Spread coated pecans on a medium baking sheet, and cook 30 minutes in the preheated oven, stirring approximately every 10 minutes.

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 cups pecans (about 1 pound)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F. Whisk butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, mustard powder, hot sauce, and cayenne in a medium bowl. Add pecans and toss to coat. They have a slight sweetness from the honey, a salty, nutty flavor from the butter and of course the spicy cayenne kick. These are fantastic in salads or just by the handful.

4 cups pecans, toasted
8 tablespoons butter (1/2 of a stick)
1/3-1/2 cup honey (depending on your sweet-tooth)
1 tablespoon water
1/2-1 tablespoon cayenne (depending on your heat level)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • To toast the pecans, place evenly on a cookie sheet. Bake for 5-10 minutes at 350 degrees, checking often. They will burn quickly!
  • In a 4-quart saucepan, place all ingredients, except pecans, and heat until mixture reaches 250 degrees. Turn off heat and add pecans to saucepan and mix well.
  • Spread coated pecans evenly on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or cooking spray. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Check the pecans midway during cooking, give them a mix using a spatula, spread evenly on cookie sheet and continue cooking.

4 (5 ounce) trout fillets
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons butter, divided
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell peppers
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons honey

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 200. Sprinkle fish with salt; dip in flour, shaking off excess.
