This simple bread pudding is an easy way to use up those bits and pieces that seem to lie around the pantry. Save a fortune and make this tasty pudding. I like to serve this with custard sauce but it goes well with whipped cream, ice cream, or also great on its own.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. This means using fresh crab meat, vegetables, and herbs.
  • Don't overcook the crab meat. Crab meat is delicate and can easily become tough if overcooked.
  • Use a good quality bread. A sturdy bread will hold up better in the bread pudding than a soft bread.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different flavors. You can add different herbs, spices, and cheeses to the bread pudding to create your own unique dish.
  • Serve the bread pudding warm. Bread pudding is best served warm, so make sure to reheat it before serving if you've made it ahead of time.
