Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are the best choices for roasting, as they hold their shape well and become crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
  • Cut the potatoes evenly: Cutting the potatoes into uniform pieces will help them cook evenly.
  • Season the potatoes liberally: Cajun seasoning is a great way to add flavor to roasted potatoes. Be sure to coat the potatoes evenly with the seasoning.
  • Use high heat: Roasting the potatoes at a high temperature will help them crisp up and develop a nice golden brown color.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: Overcrowding the pan will prevent the potatoes from roasting evenly.
  • Toss the potatoes halfway through cooking: This will help them cook evenly and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Serve immediately: Roasted potatoes are best served immediately, while they are still hot and crispy.

Conclusion:

Cajun roasted potatoes are a delicious and easy side dish that can be enjoyed with a variety of main courses. They are perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion.
