CAKE THAT DOESN'T LAST!
I found this recipe written on a piece of paper that was tucked in the middle of one of my SIL's cookbooks. I have no idea where she got it from. The ingredients resemble that of a "Hummingbird Cake".

Tips:
- Choose the right cake recipe: Not all cake recipes are created equal. Some cakes are more prone to drying out than others. If you're looking for a cake that will last, choose a recipe that is dense and moist.
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will help your cake taste its best and stay moist longer. Avoid using old or stale ingredients, as these can make your cake dry out more quickly.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter can develop the gluten in the flour, which can make the cake tough and dry. Mix the batter only until the ingredients are well combined.
- Bake the cake properly: Be sure to bake the cake at the correct temperature and for the correct amount of time. Overbaking or underbaking the cake can make it dry out.
- Cool the cake completely: Once the cake is baked, let it cool completely before frosting or serving. This will help the cake to set and prevent it from drying out.
Conclusion:
With a little care and attention, you can easily bake a cake that will last for days. By following these tips, you can ensure that your cake is moist, delicious, and perfect for any occasion.
