Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Fresh marshmallows and butter will give your treats the best flavor.
  • Don't overcook the mixture: The mixture should be cooked until it reaches 240°F (115°C) on a candy thermometer. Overcooking will make the treats too hard.
  • Let the mixture cool slightly before adding the marshmallows: This will help prevent the marshmallows from melting too much.
  • Stir the mixture constantly while adding the marshmallows: This will help to evenly distribute the marshmallows throughout the mixture.
  • Press the treats firmly into the pan: This will help to prevent them from crumbling.
  • Chill the treats for at least 2 hours before cutting them: This will help them to set properly.

Conclusion:

Caramel marshmallow treats are a delicious and easy-to-make snack or dessert. They are perfect for parties, potlucks, or just a sweet treat at home. With a few simple ingredients and a little time, you can create a batch of caramel marshmallow treats that everyone will love.
