Tips:

  • Choose the right skewers: Use wooden or metal skewers that are long enough to hold all of your ingredients without overcrowding. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
  • Cut your vegetables and chicken evenly: This will help them cook evenly on the grill. Vegetables should be cut into 1-inch pieces, and chicken should be cut into 1-inch cubes.
  • Marinate your chicken: This will help to flavor and tenderize the chicken. You can use a simple marinade made with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and herbs, or you can try a more complex marinade with spices and yogurt.
  • Don't overcrowd the skewers: Leave some space between the ingredients on the skewers so that they can cook evenly. You should be able to fit about 4-5 pieces of chicken and vegetables on each skewer.
  • Grill the kebabs over medium heat: This will help to prevent the chicken from drying out. Cook the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve the kebabs with your favorite dipping sauce: Some popular options include tzatziki sauce, hummus, or chimichurri sauce.

Conclusion:

Caribbean chicken and vegetable kebabs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout or party. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a flavorful and satisfying meal that will be enjoyed by everyone.
